Sigel Press, in collaboration with Project: LEARN, will host a book signing by Retired Judge James L. Kimbler on Thursday, June 23 from 5-7pm at the Medina County District Library, Community Room A, 210 South Broadway, Medina. Judge Kimbler will make a brief presentation and then autograph books.
Practical Tips for Trial Attorneys is packed full of practical advice for lawyers who go to court or aspire to go to court and who are willing to learn from the successes and failures of others. Written in an informal and easy to read style, Judge Kimbler recounts winning and losing moves he has seen firsthand so his readers can take advantage of the winners while avoiding the losers. The book is not limited to attorneys, but appeals to a broader audience, thus enlightening them about courtroom practices and behavior.
Legal experts are praising Judge Kimbler’s book: “(Retired) Judge Kimbler picks up where law school leaves off. With over 30 years of trial judge experience he translates the theoretical into the practical.” –Laurel Letts, Managing Attorney of the Akron Office for Nationwide Trial Division
Sigel Press and Judge Kimbler will be donating a portion of the proceeds to Project: LEARN to help with their literacy outreach programs. Copies are also available at all Medina County Project: LEARN bookshops (The BookShelf in Medina, Brunswick and Wadsworth) or online at www.sigelpress.com.
“Project: LEARN is honored that Judge Kimbler is supporting our literacy tutoring program. We count on community support to ensure that we can continue to offer adult literacy tutoring, English as a second language tutoring, and GED assistance free of charge to anyone in Medina County who needs our help,” said Scott Snyder, Project: LEARN Board President.
